The big plus of this hotel is the location and how the old mansion stands there in the park.
There were exceptions, the waiter who served all alone in the grillroom :o)

Well-appointed and well presented room with tv in the bathroom, the staff was extremely helpful. Had central location also situated in a beautiful area.
Very small bathroom, and the breakfast was very poor.

Was absolutely fantastic.
Most of the staff was from Eastern Bloc, I don't mind that, but the typical English character is therefore a bit lost.

The location is truly remarkable, surrounded by stunning scenery and offers a peaceful retreat. I particularly loved the serene forest walks that were just outside the hotel and the impressive architecture that made for a lovely atmosphere. Dining was enjoyable, with beautifully presented meals that catered to our tastes. I felt the standard rooms could use some upgraded access for seniors, as it may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues.

My stay was extra special thanks to the immaculate surroundings and the kind staff who made my birthday nice, but the breakfast service could get a bit slow when big events were happening.
